A fun new scam is cropping up, similar to the scary sounding spam about infringing photos which phishes you for sensitive information, but this one seems a little less nefarious. Instead of looking to capture your sensitive data, “scammers” (likely more like black-hat SEOs) write to you posing as a client or “on behalf of” a client, claiming you are using one of their copyrighted photos on your website without their permission. hasOptimization is proud to announce the launch of a new website for tree removal and tree trimming service Boisvert Brothers Tree Service. This is likely one of the last websites we’ll be launching in 2020, but we’re glad we could make this happen for our long time client the Boisverts just in time for a fresh new look for 2021!

That title? That’s just here for search engine optimization. Yup, I went there. The fact of the matter is, there is no war on Christmas keywords (There’s also not really a war on Christmas, but that’s a whole other topic!). If anything, there’s a war on other winter holiday keywords.

The hasOptimization team is growing again. We’re excited to welcome a new staff member in a new position: Client Relationship Manager. Courtney Fappiano comes to us from a background in writing and project management, and will be working as the liaison between the team and our clients. Once she’s learned the ropes, she’ll be answering the phone, responding to emails, and translating information into tasks so that the rest of the team can be efficient, effective, and optimized.
