This is likely one of the last websites we’ll be launching in 2020, but we’re glad we could make this happen for our long time client the Boisverts just in time for a fresh new look for 2021!

Often times, when building or updating websites for clients, we run into an issue with vernacular versus technical term when it comes to identifying where or how things should be changed or placed. One of the greatest things about WordPress, a CMS that runs about 35% of the internet, is the flexibility of it. You can do just about anything with WordPress or the plethora of unending plugins available for download. WordPress’ back end is so robust that there are plenty of features built in that you don’t necessarily need to download a plugin to get what you need. One of the single most frustrating things I’ve dealt with is the variations of things that can cause contact form submissions not to be received. The most common reason is that they are labeled as spam, but are still received. On rare occasions, contact form submissions are not received at all. In Office 365 email setups, this seems always to be the case. Unfortunately, by default, GoDaddy uses Office 365, so you may be here wondering how to tackle this issue.

While the internet isn’t exactly in a complete and total uproar about this like some of our previous installments of calm down, internet, many of our clients are sending us emails questioning the content of this spam — and rightfully so. In today’s “calm down, internet” we talk about a scammy piece of spam that threatens to take legal action against people for using “illustrations” or “photographs” that don’t belong to them.
